Government of Serbia announced the construction of new wind farms, and said that it will continue to provide incentives for the renewable energy sources.

Antić: We will build more wind farms

The Minister noted that seven wind energy projects have gained the temporary privileged producer status, together with two solar power plants and two small hydropower plants.

When asked about the cost of such support per one electricity bill, Antić answered that it amounts less than 0.1 RSD per kilowatt-hour (kWh).

“If we translate that to everyday terms, it makes around 50 dinars a month for renewable energy sources. Which is not all that much, having in mind the significance of what we are doing”, said Antić.
