IMF delegation to arrive in Belgrade on Thursday
The mission is scheduled to last around two weeks, Roaf said.We will also discuss the next review under the precautionary stand-by arrangement that Serbia has with the IMF, Roaf said.
The key issued during the visit will be the macroeconomic and the fiscal situation, the public sector reform and the reform of public enterprises and companies under restructuring, he said.
The IMF expects a joint press conference to be held afterwards, he added.
Serbia agreed a EUR 1.2 billion, three-year precautionary stand-by arrangement with the IMF in February 2015, but the Serbian government has said repeatedly that it is against drawing those funds.
The past three reviews under the arrangement were concluded with a positive assessment, while the fourth review, which began before the April early parliamentary elections, is yet to be completed.
