Serbian PM receives World Bank vice president
Vucic "thanked Muller and all World Bank representatives in charge of Serbia on the great support they provided in the implementation of Serbian government’s reforms and on positive assessments of the results achieved to date."He "underlined that the Serbian government will continue to do everything in order to respond to all challenges it is facing in the realization of necessary reforms."
Muller "praised the commitment of Prime Minister Vucic to implementing reforms in Serbia and highlighted the adoption of the Law on the System of Salaries of Public Sector Employees as a special step in improving the functioning of the state administration."
He added that Serbia has achieved "exceptional results in the stabilization of public finances through fiscal consolidation."
The government said that they also spoke about rationalization of public administration and restructuring of public and state companies through privatization, as well as improvement of the education system in Serbia, "with full support from the World Bank whose experts will offer professional assistance."
