Serbia and South Korea ink air transportation deal

Serbian Transportation Minister Zorana Mihajlovic and Ambassador of the Republic of Korea Lee Do-hoon signed on Wednesday an agreement on air transportation.

Serbia and South Korea ink air transportation deal

The new deal, due to replace the one signed in 1990, will help air carriers improve the commercial cooperation and expand their networks through code-share arrangements, the minister's office said in a statement.

"The agreement opens up prospects for establishing direct flights between Serbia and South Korea, up to three times a week. The distance between Belgrade and Seoul totals around 8,300 km, which means that the possible introduction of direct flights would cut the travel time from the current 20 hours to 11-12 hours," the statement said.
