Construction works begin to build bridge over Sava River
Work has begun to build a second bridge over the Sava River at Ostruznica, with Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic taking part in the groundbreaking ceremony.

Construction works begin to build bridge over Sava River
The total value of the project is RSD 3.57 billion and it will be financed from an EBRD loan obtained under very favorable conditions, Tanjug is reporting.The bridge, a part of the Belgrade bypass, should be completed by March 2018. It will be almost two kilometers long and will be built parallel to the existing one, as part of the second lane of the bypass highway.
Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic also attended the ceremony today.
Serbia's public company Roads of Serbia (Putevi Srbije) last week signed the contract with JV Strabag AG-Ed. Zublin AG-Dywidag Bau Gmbh-PZP Zajecar consortium, and said they submitted the best offer in an international tender.
