Russian energy minister meets with Serbian delegation

Serbia's Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic, Finance Minister Dusan Vujovic and Economy Minister Zeljko Sertic conferred with Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak.

Russian energy minister meets with Serbian delegation

"We discussed the session of the joint committee and assessed that last year the volume of foreign trade was most favorable for Serbia in the last five or six years, as it reached almost USD 3.5 billion, and also because Serbia increased its exports to the Russian Federation," Dacic said on Thursday.

The meeting also discussed possibility to get positive decisions of the Eurasian Economic Union member countries (Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan) on certain quotas for the export of cars to Russia and cheese made in Serbia as soon as in August, in order to be able to implement the exports in the second half of the year, he noted.

The three Serbian ministers are taking part in St. Petersburg Economic Forum that will last until June 20.
