The USD 100 million is to be used to reform state and social companies and will go to the budget.

Verheijen told the state broadcaster RTS on Tuesday evening that out of the USD 400 million, 100 million is intended for the budget, USD 200 million for Serbian Railways, Roads of Serbia and Electric Power Industry of Serbia, and another USD 100 million for finalization of the restructuring of companies.

Verheijen said that for the first time in the last three years the WB was able to grant a loan in support of the budget, and this was in support of Serbia's economic reforms.

He underlined that the deadline for completion of the privatization processes is December 1, adding that he hopes that the Serbian government will meet the deadline.
