BELGRADE The import customs duty for a large number of products produced in the EU was completely lifted on January 1. The customs duty will also be reduced for important agricultural products. The zero customs duty applies to new and seconds-hand cars, non-ferrous metals, aluminum, copper, machines, electrical products, spare parts for tractors, fur, products made of concrete, plaster and cement, rubber, Indian rubber and ceramic products. As for the agricultural products, the customs duty will also be abolished for about 96 percent of agricultural products as of 2014 and only those agricultural products produced by Serbia will remain protected after the year 2014 VIP
