Serbian currency to drop by 0.2 percent on Monday

The Serbian dinar will continue its slump on Monday, dropping by 0.2 percent or RSD 0.20, the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) has stated.

BELGRADE The Serbian dinar will continue its slump on Monday, dropping by 0.2 percent or RSD 0.20, the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) has stated. The middle exchange rate will be RSD 118.5676 for one euro. Serbian currency to drop by 0.2 percent on Monday The exchange rate for the weekend will be the same one from Friday, or RSD 118.3681 for EUR 1. The historical low for the dinar was RSD 118.6892 for one euro, recorded on July 27, while it was at its strongest this year on January 11, when it stood at RSD 103.6922 for a euro. The central bank has sold EUR 1.3325bn since the start of 2012 in order to keep the daily fluctuations of the exchange rate under control. The dinar will be 2.5 percent weaker on Monday than a month ago, and 13.6 percent weaker compared to one year ago. The indicative exchange rate against the dollar was RSD 96.2165 for one dollar on Friday, or one percent higher than the previous value.
