The Serbian dinar (RSD) is up by another 0.1 percent on Monday, setting the official middle exchange rate at RSD 110.7924 for one euro (EUR). The National Bank of Serbia (NBS) said that it had sold EUR 308.5mn in the interbank foreign exchange market since the beginning of the year to alleviate the excessive daily volatility of the exchange rate. Compared to a month before, the Serbian currency is down 2.2 percent, and 7.1 percent compared to a year ago, the NBS release reads.

The indicative dinar vs. dollar exchange rate was RSD 84.0801 on Friday, up 0.8 percent from the day before. The dinar weakened 1.8 percent against the U.S. dollar on a monthly and 13 percent on an annual level.
