Serbian PM Mirko Cvetkovic says the current government will definitely not decide on sale of Telekom Srbija, which is again 100 percent in government ownership. “After the government had bought the minority share of the company, which was owned by OTE, the new government formed after the election will decide about the sale,” Cvetkovic told Radio and Television of Serbia (RTS). PM: Current govt. won’t decide on Telekom Commenting on whether the purchase of the shares was an introduction into Telekom's sale, the prime minister stated that it heralded a different approach to the company in terms of management professionalization and easier sale. “Greek OTE had a minority share, but it also had significant management rights,” he explained. Telekom Srbija Director Branko Radujko and OTE CEO Michael Tsamas signed a contract in Athens on Friday to buy out OTE's 20 percent share in Telekom at the price of EUR 380mn.
