The first civilian aircraft landed today at Morava Airport in Ladjevci near Kraljevo, in central Serbia. The Defense Ministry said previously that Serbian President Boris Tadic, Defense Minister Dragan Sutanovac, Minister of Economy and Regional Development Nebojsa Ciric and Minister for Human and Minority Rights, Public Administration and Local Self-Government Milan Markovic would all be at the airport. First civilian aircraft lands at "mixed airport" Serbian Army Chief of General Staff Lt. Gen. Miloje Miletic, Chairman of the Management Board of Air Traffic Services Agency of Serbia and Montenegro Nikola Stankov, General Director of Nikola Tesla Airport in Belgrade Velimir Radosavljevic and Acting General Director of Jat Airways Vladimir Ognjenovic were also at Ladjevci today. In August 2010, the Serbian government adopted an investment program for converting the Ladjevci airport, now called Morava, from a military into a mixed airport. The investment amounted to EUR 32mn, and investment partner Turkey allocated EUR 10mn. Serbian Defense Ministry earmarked EUR 12mn, the Air Traffic Services Agency of Serbia and Montenegro EUR 3.5 million, other ministries allocated EUR 2mn each, as did Nikola Tesla Airport. Serbian Army Chief of General Staff Lt. Gen. Miloje Miletić, Chairman of the Management Board of Air Traffic Services Agency of Serbia and Montenegro Nikola Stankov, General Director of Nikola Tesla Airport in Belgrade Velimir Radosavljević and Acting General Director of Jat Airways Vladimir Ognjenovic were also at Lađevci today.
