The Serbian dinar (RSD) strengthened against the euro (EUR) by 39 paras on Monday. This set a new record value for 2011 with the official middle exchange rate at RSD 102.7092 for one euro, announced the National Bank of Serbia. The central bank made only one intervention in the interbank foreign exchange market since the start of the year, buying EUR 5mn, in an effort to prevent excessive daily fluctuation in the exchange rate.
