Inflation in Serbia in April, based on the retail price index, was 1.1 percent. According to the Statistical Office, inflation since the beginning of the year has reached seven percent. April inflation: 1.1 percent Half-year inflation in April was 10 percent. The Statistical Office states that industrial output in Serbia in March was 14.2 percent down on the same period last year, and 12.2 percent down on the 2008 average. Industrial output in the first quarter of 2009 was 16.9 percent down on the same period last year.
