The National Bank of Serbia (NBS) hard currency reserves grew by EUR 241.9mn in February to reach EUR 8.24bn. The EUR 400mn sale of NIS to Russia's Gazprom influenced this result, according to a statement from the central bank this Tuesday in Belgrade. In U.S. dollars, the bank's reserves grew to reach USD 10.48bn, bringing the coverage of M1 money supply to 340 percent.
