Another company signs MoU in Kragujevac

A memorandum of understanding between British Albon, the City of Kragujevac and the Ministry of Economy was signed yesterday. The document expresses "readiness of all three sides to participate in the realization of Albon's greenfield investment in Kragujevac", a statement from the ministry said. Another company signs MoU in Kragujevac After the MoU with Fiat Group, Albon, which manufactures car parts and already operates in Simanovci near Belgrade, has voiced interest in building a new factory in the city, which is home of Serbia's only carmaker, Zastava. "The initial value of the investment will be EUR 40mn, and 420 jobs will be created," the statement said. The investment "will be supported from the National Investment Plan, NIP, through SIEPA's program for stimulation of direct investments in Serbia", outgoing Economy Minister Mladjan Dinkic was quoted as saying.
