Parliament has begun the debate on amendments to the law on the free share distribution. 58 amendments have been put forward to the government’s proposal. Parliament debates free share proposal Under the draft law, 4 million Serbianadults will receive shares in the six public enterprises. It is estimated that each citizen who has not thus far participated in the privatization process will receive shares to the value of some EUR 1000, while employees and former workers will receive a further EUR 200 for every year worked there.
