NIS to foreigners, EPS, Telekom to remain state-owned

The government has come up with a new concept for the privatization of the country's public enterprises. The policy envisages that 51 percent of NIS shares will to a strategic partner, while 34 percent would remain in state ownership, with 15 percent of stock distributed gratis. According to him, some four million citizens will be entitled to gratis shares, with the right to also buy pubic company shares worth up to EUR 5,000.
